When planting tree's don't plant then to close to your house. here is
a estimate to go buy . A tree that will grow to a 100 feet tall should
be planted at least 75 ft away from the house. a tree that will grow to
20 ft should be planted 15 ft away from the house. this is so that the
roots do not tare up your foundation and cause bigger damage than there
worth.
Fruit trees need pollination just like birds and bees . without
pollination the tree will bloom but not bear fruit. some varieties will
not bear fruit unless pollinated buy a different varieties of the same
fruit like apricots and cherries. It's best to buy 2 or more different
varieties. all apples , peaches, pear, and plums are self-fertile and
will bear fruit without cross- pollination. but they do best with a
extra pollinator and will bear more fruit.
